Cristiano Ronaldo finally proposes to long-time girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez

Georgina shared a photo wearing the huge diamond ring, tagging Ronaldo's account with the caption: "Yes I do. In this and in all my lives."

Her post quickly went viral, racking up over 1.5 million interactions within just 40 minutes. Fans flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations and blessings for the couple.

The ring is estimated by jewellery experts to be worth over a million dollars and likely exceeding 10-15 carats, according to Marca.

Ronaldo and Georgina first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she worked as a saleswoman. Ronaldo visited the store one day and the two had a brief conversation. They reconnected at a later event for another fashion brand, which was the start of a nine-year relationship.

Their romance became public in late 2016 when they were spotted together at Disneyland Paris. Since then, Georgina has been by Ronaldo’s side, supporting him both in his career and personal life.

Georgina has two children with Ronaldo: Alana Martina, born in 2017, and twins, including Bella Esmeralda, born in 2022. Unfortunately, Bella’s twin brother passed away shortly after birth.

Alongside their two daughters, Georgina has helped raise Ronaldo’s three other children: Cristiano Jr. (born 2010) and twins Eva and Mateo (born 2017).

Ronaldo has previously sparked speculation about marriage when he unintentionally referred to Georgina as his "wife," which has led fans to believe that a grand wedding may soon be on the horizon. He also spoke on Georgina’s Netflix show about waiting for a "click" to happen and that an engagement is "1000% sure".
