Rodriguez shared a photo on Instagram on April 14, displaying the ring with a big, square diamond on her finger, accompanied by an Arabic message that read, "May the evil stay away from us." She tattooed this phrase on her hand as a prayer for herself and her family in Saudi Arabia.
Despite the diamond ring on her finger, Daily Mail reports that Ronaldo and Rodriguez are not officially engaged. Last month, the Portuguese footballer confirmed that they have not yet taken that step, although he assured that it will "1,000% happen."

Rodriguez is said to be worth a whopping US$4 million, according to Zack Stone, a diamond exper and managing director of U.K. retailer Steven Stone.
"The show-stopping piece features a magnificent 20-carat emerald-cut diamond in a classic solitaire setting. Set on a bold, thick band - believed to be platinum, naturally - the ring is a striking symbol of the couple's luxurious lifestyle and undeniable bond," the Mirror cited him as saying.
While not officially married, Ronaldo frequently refers to Rodriguez as his wife. In January this year, the 40-year-old football superstar sent a special birthday message to Rodriguez, calling her his wife once again.
Rodriguez, 31, born into a working-class family, grew up in financial difficulties. Her father, Jorge Rodriguez, was convicted of drug trafficking twice. Unable to afford dancing shoes, dresses or school fees, Georgina had to abandon her dream of becoming a ballet dancer.
She met Ronaldo in 2016 while working at a Gucci store. The couple quickly became romantically involved.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have two children together: Alana Martina, 7, and Angel dos Santos Aveiro, 2. Ronaldo also has three children from previous relationships, using surrogacy. There were reports that Ronaldo and Rodriguez have a prenuptial agreement.
In 2023, Georgina released the second part of her documentary "I’m Georgina," which offers a glimpse into her and Ronaldo’s life with family and friends. The first season, released in 2021, was centered around their love story, drawing comparisons to a "Cinderella" narrative.
However, the show has faced criticism for promoting a lavish lifestyle and Rodriguez has been accused of dishonesty regarding her claims about reading many books and not editing her photos before posting them on social media.
