Claudecir got released from a second V. League club this season after a disappointing performance.

Claudecir dos Reis Rodrigues Júnior, commonly known as Claudecir, parted ways with SHB Da Nang after just two league games against Saigon FC and Viettel FC. Da Nang lost both matches 1-2 with the forward scoring two yellow cards.

After replacing Le Huynh Duc as head coach of Da Nang, Phan Thanh Hung requested the club to end its contract with Claudecir.

"I have played for Da Nang in two games and the club lost both of them. I was unlucky during the time and that’s why I have to leave," Claudecir said.

He said he has no plans at the moment but will keep looking for new chances in V. League instead of playing overseas.

Earlier this season, Hong Linh Ha Tinh signed Claudecir from Hai Phong with great expectations. However, in the first two games, the 31-year-old missed two penalties and failed to convert many clear chances into goals. Ha Tinh had little choice but to release him.

Claudecir has played in Vietnam since 2016. He won the domestic club title with Quang Nam FC in 2017. The forward became the top scorer of the season with 12 goals. However, he lost his form in the next two seasons, scoring only six times.
