Beckham family distance from daughter-in-law and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz amid deepening rift

According to Mirror, tensions between the Beckhams and Nicola have escalated in recent months to the point of no return. Sources claim the family has had enough of Nicola, especially after Brooklyn missed his father, former football star David's 50th birthday celebrations in London last weekend.

The family is said to be willing to do anything to get their son back and are "fed up" with Nicola's influence.

A source told Daily Mail that Brooklyn had previously confirmed his attendance at the birthday party but later backed out after Nicola allegedly started an argument and discouraged him from attending.

The couple were spotted in London earlier in the week, but they did not attend any of the Beckham family events, including the gathering on April 30 and the trip to France on May 2. The couple reportedly flew back to the U.S. on May 3, hours before the birthday celebration.

The Sun claimed the couple had intended to attend the party and even canceled their plans to appear at the Met Gala in New York on May 5 to make the trip. However, TMZ reported that Brooklyn only agreed to attend if Kim Turnbull, who is currently dating his younger brother Romeo Beckham, was not invited. The Beckhams declined that condition, prompting Brooklyn to skip the event. A source added that Brooklyn texted his father a birthday message and attempted to arrange a private meeting, which was turned down.

Kim did not attend the April 30 gathering due to work but later joined the family in France for the main event on May 3. Although some sources say Brooklyn and Kim briefly dated in 2016, his younger brother Cruz has denied the rumor. According to TMZ, Brooklyn is reportedly not jealous but suspicious of Kim's motives in getting close to Romeo. The Beckhams, however, are said to fully support Romeo and Kim's relationship.

Adding to the tension, Brooklyn and Nicola have not publicly acknowledged David's birthday on May 2, Victoria's birthday on April 17 or Mother's Day in March. They also skipped an early birthday celebration for David in Miami in late March. The couple has not interacted with recent family posts on social media and the Beckhams remained silent during Brooklyn and Peltz's third wedding anniversary in early April.

Nicola, 30, is the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz. She got engaged to Brooklyn in 2020 and married in 2022.
