DNSE Aquaman announces competition schedule

The main venue for DNSE Aquaman Vietnam 2023 will be the Bikini Beach square at NovaWorld Phan Thiet. The competition will feature three distances: Aquaman (2 km swim, 21 km run), Half Aqua (1 km swim, 10 km run), and Sprint Aqua (500 m swim, 5 km run).

The latter two start at 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m.

In the Aquaman race, swimmers will have a maximum of 80 minutes and the total race, five hours.

Contestants in the Half Aqua race will have 40 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes.

The sprint has to be done within 25 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes.

The athletes will begin in the starting square and run towards the sea, complete the swimming portion and head for the transit area to prepare for the running portion.

The swimming route will be marked with buoys and have SUPs and rescue boats to ensure safety.

The running track is flat and of good quality, and passes through some beautiful areas inside NovaWorld Phan Thiet.

Detailed information about the specific swimming and running routes will be announced soon.

The children's competition, Aqua Kid, will take place a day earlier, starting at 7 a.m. on Oct. 28.

The young contestants will swim 200 m and run 1 km. Like the adult races, AquaKid too will have cut-off times of 30 minutes for the swimming and 1 hour for the entire race.

Following the children's competition, between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m the adult contestants will have the opportunity to test the swimming lane and transition area.

This is crucial for the athletes to familiarize themselves with the waves, currents and wind conditions to form their tactics.

The bib and race kit distribution area will open at 1 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the expo area in Bikini Beach square.

Aquaman Vietnam 2023 will host a dinner party for the athletes on Oct. 27 at Hai Cang Seafood to welcome them and for them to connect before the competition.

Athletes who have registered for tickets on the system are invited to attend the dinner party.

The athletes can also enjoy a music program from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on October 28 in the beach square area.

Participants in DNSE Aquaman Vietnam can get free access to the water park right in the NovaWorld Phan Thiet complex and enjoy all its games.

The competition area has a wide range of amenities, including an amusement park, picturesque beaches offering water sports, diverse dining options, top-notch hotels, vibrant shopping centers, and scenic golf courses.
