150 tickets left to enter VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight

The organizers said they might close the ticket sales earlier than planned due to the huge number of registrations. The ticket portal would close on November 4 or when the last BIBs are sold out, whichever happens first.

Tickets for distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km are priced at VND480,000 ($20.71), VND960,000, VND1,140,000 and VND1,320,000 respectively.

Announced at the end of last year, VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight has attracted thousands of professional and amateur runners. The first large-scale night race in Vietnam will start officially on the night of November 28 through the morning of November 29, bringing new experiences to runners.

Thousands of participants will run together under the street lights, from a foggy winter night through dawn on Phan Dinh Phung, Dinh Tien Hoang, Phan Boi Chau streets or in front of the Opera House.

Taking place at the end of November, the race will be highlighted by the early winter winds of northern Vietnam, capturing the night economy landscape of Hanoi - a capital with over a thousands years of history.

In terms of outfits, the organizers have prepared tank top shirts so that the runners can wear them or combine with jackets inside. The fuchsia pink shade (ten o'clock pink) has drawn the attention of the running-lovers community since it was officially announced earlier this month.

Cooperating with sponsors, the organizers will offer runners several benefits and promote the sporting spirit. The running route will include many check-in spots for runners to capture memorable moments.

The organizers still offer a group discount of 10 percent for those of 10-29 people, 15 percent for groups of 30- 49, 20 percent for groups of 50-100 and 25 percent for groups of over 100.

In addition to VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight, VnExpress also organizes VnExpress Marathon Hue, which takes place on December 27, offering runners the opportunity to explore the culture of Hue ancient capital.
