Instead of treating AI as a threat, why not find a way to cooperate?

To survive in the age of AI, there are certain ways that young people in particular can learn to do so.

First, we need to study for life, keep our mind curious, and continually update our skills and knowledge. AI technologies develop quickly, so one needs to learn and adapt to stay relevant.

Next up, we must develop our human skills - or more exactly, skills that humans are uniquely able to do. This includes areas like creativity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, complex problem-solving and interpersonal communication.

We also need to learn to adapt to a changing environment. We must be open to change and be willing to accept new technologies and new ways to do things. Adaptability will help us navigate ourselves in an ever-changing environment and seize opportunities whenever they arise.

In addition, we have to cooperate with AI. Instead of treating it like a threat, we should learn to work together and enhance our own capabilities using AI technologies. We should discover the ways AI can automate certain tasks and provide knowledge based on data, while improving themselves over time.

The final aspect is finding our own specialties. Figure out which fields AI would find it difficult to match with humans, and focus on developing advanced skills in those fields. These fields may have to do with industries or roles that require creativity, empathy, intuition or complex problem-solving.
