Donnie Yen enjoys sweet marriage with 18-year-younger wife

On March 23, Yen surprised Wang by cheering her on as she performed a song at a party with friends. The special moment, where Yen presented Wang with flowers and kissed her, quickly captured the attention of fans.

Over the years, Yen and Wang have opened up about their relationship. In an interview with Cosmo Bride, Yen shared that he loves surprising his wife with creative and unique gifts, ensuring that each one is different from the last.

Wang, in turn, expressed her deep affection for Yen, noting that she often encourages him during tough times and shows him love, helping to maintain the warmth and sweetness in their relationship.

For one Valentine’s Day, while Yen was away on business, Wang sent him a collection of paintings.

Yen later expressed his happiness on social media: “Even though I’m not with her, receiving a collection of paintings that my wife prepared with so much effort makes me feel happy and content.”

When not filming, the couple enjoys traveling the world.

They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with a photo shoot in Italy in 2023.

Wang shared her thoughts on love, saying that after many years together, she realized that true love isn’t just about seeing the beauty in each other, but accepting each other’s flaws.

The couple has two children: Jasmine Yen (R), 21, who is a singer, and James Yen, 18.

On March 22, Yen shared with HK01 that their son James Yen (far R), who is nearly 1.9 meters tall, has a strong musical talent.

Recently, the family was spotted at an elite event in Paris, France.

Yen has been a prominent figure in the film industry for over 40 years, known for roles in movies like “Hero,” “Kill Zone - S.P.L.,” the “Ip Man” series, “14 Blades,” and “xXx: Return of Xander Cage.” He is planning to shoot “Ip Man 5” and “Flash Point 2” in the near future.

Wang was crowned Miss Chinese Toronto 2000 and is active as a Hong Kong model.
