The government has granted approval for the Son My 2 Industrial Park in the central province of Binh Thuan.

The 468-hectare industrial facility will be developed by East Saigon Investment and Industrial Development JSC, a company in which well-known developer Becamex IDC owns a 30% stake.

The province has nine industrial parks, including three currently being built, according to the Binh Thuan Industrial Park Management Board.

The province is keen to make industry one of its main economic pillars by 2025.
