Holiday Inn Resort in Ho Tram Beach off the southern coast has one of the world's 10 hottest new swimming pools as voted by Australian travel magazine Escape.

Located in the Ho Tram beach tourist area in the southern beach town of Vung Tau, around 100 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach opened this year and provides over 560 rooms and suites.

Ho Tram is famous as a weekend retreat in the southern region thanks to its long, sandy beaches with turquoise waters and primeval forests.

Its swimming pool is surrounded by green trees and overlooks Ho Tram Beach.

"Spa treatments are offered at poolside cabanas, and each evening, one of Vietnam's largest fountain shows sees 120 water jets shoot 25m into the air at the pool's edge," the magazine says.

In addition, Ho Tram Beach is best known as one of Vietnam's top golf destinations as it boats Australian legend golfer Greg Norman's golf course The Bluffs.

The rest of the list included The Langham Gold Coast in Australia, Hyatt Regency Indian Wells in the U.S., Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa in Maldives, Rosewood Sao Paulo in Brazil, and Buahan, A Banyan Tree Escape in Indonesia.
