It will be done under a deal signed Tuesday between Cam Ranh International Terminal JSC and Changi Airports International on the sidelines of the biennial Singapore Airshow.
"As Vietnam is facing global competition, we must develop and have airports like Changi," Jonathan Hanh Nguyen, the main stakeholder in the Cam Ranh International Terminal, said.
For dozens of years Changi has been voted the world's best airport by aviation site Skytrax.
Before Covid it served over 68 million passengers annually and was the world's seventh busiest airport.
Cam Ranh only received 6.8 million passengers then.
Changi is famous for its modern amenities and services, duty-free shopping, indoor rainforest and the world's tallest indoor waterfall.
Apart from automated check-in and entry registration services, the airport is adopting biometric authentication systems and utilizing artificial intelligence to transport luggage.
