There will also be teams from France, Italy, Poland, Finland, and hosts Vietnam, the government's portal reported.
The opening ceremony will be held along the Han River on June 8 and the fireworks performances will be staged every Saturday through the final round on July 13.
First held in 2008 as a two-day competition, the event became a two-month festival in 2017, helping the city cement its status as a leading tourism destination.
After being held in 2019 it was canceled for the next three years due to the Covid pandemic.
Last year it made a comeback and helped the city attract nearly one million visitors, up 30% from 2019.
