Blooming cherry blossoms attract Asian celebrities to Japan

Song Joong Ki, who appeared in the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list, took his wife, British actress Katy Louise Saunders, and their son to Japan for the cherry blossom season. Here, he walked along the Meguro River, the most beautiful flower viewing spot in Tokyo.
The cherry blossom road at the Meguro, which extends from a bridge near the Ikejiri Ohashi station in Setagaya District to near the Takobashi bridge in Meguro District, attracts droves of tourists every year.

Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, known as the "King of Mandopop," is also in Japan for a concert in Yokohama. In his free time he’s been admiring the cherry blossoms in Tokyo. Not only fascinated by the colors of flowers during the daytime, he’s also been walking the Meguro River to admire the flowers at night, a unique Japanese experience.

Chinese actor and filmmaker Donnie Yen (C) and his family are also visiting Tokyo for the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Here, they pose for photos near Meguro River, where the cherry blossom trees are blooming vibrantly in vivid pink colors.

Former actress and Miss Hong Kong Michelle Reis, wife of businessman Xu Jinheng, heir to real estate billionaire Hui Sai Fun, has also arrived in Tokyo to admire the cherry blossoms.

As well, Hong Kong actress Carina Lau is in Tokyo for the bloom. This year, the cherry blossoms are blooming about a week later than forecast. When she arrived in Japan, the flowers had just begun to open up there trademark bright pink petals.

South Korean singer Cha Eun-woo is also enjoying his holiday in Japan, where he has been walking under the cherry blossoms, enjoying traditional Japanese ramen noodle soup and visiting a historic old Japanese tea stall.
