Woman fined for driving car at 140 kph in HCMC residential area

She also had her driving license revoked for three months for speeding, the police said Monday.

A video emerged on social media of her driving a car on Nguyen Co Thach Street in a residential area in Thu Duc City.

A person sitting next to her recorded the speedometer showing 140 kph at some points.

The maximum speed vehicles are allowed in HCMC is 60 kph.

There were many other vehicles on the street when she was speeding.

She told the police the incident took place in September when testing a car for an auto brand that she works for.
