Two killed as passenger bus slams into house

Nguyen Xuan Dong, 52, was driving the bus carrying 26 people on National Highway 14 in the Central Highlands province when he decided to turn into a house to avoid a truck at a T-junction at around noon.

There were no one side the house at the time, but one of its walls was knocked down. Dong and a passenger died while an assistant driver and four other passengers were injured.

Locals said there are no red lights at the T-junction, which is at a sloping section of the road, causing accidents to happen regularly.
