The bus belongs to Hai Van Transport Service Cooperative based in the central city, Da Nang Transport Department said Friday.
The department has revoked the badges of the vehicle and 54 others for similar violations, banning them from operating business transport for the next two months.
Among the others, a container truck violated the speed limit 221 times and another passenger car 191 times, according to data from the Department for Roads of Vietnam under the Ministry of Transport said in a recent report.
A trip monitoring device on the vehicle continuously transmits data to the department, and every time the driver steps on the gas pedal and makes the vehicle move faster than regulated, it is recorded as a violation.
However, traffic police now only fine drivers for speed limit violation if recorded on security cameras and have yet to sanction them according to the monitoring system.
