It will begin in Hanoi on December 1st and wrap up in the southern metropolis on the 8th. The week-long event will include many environment-friendly activities with the motto: "Let’s make history".
"The Green Trail aims to introduce an innovative source of green energy as a way of solving environmental issues that trouble Vietnam nowadays," said Nguyen Ngoc Minh, CEO of Powercentric Company Limited, developers of the MOPO smart battery and one of the organizers.

Nguyen Ngoc Minh expected to raise awareness of clean energy sources and support Vietnam to become the leader in the movement for protecting the environment in Southeast Asia and in the world.
"The Green Trail" will be performed by BENFE Motors electric motor-scooters made by Ben Franklin Energy Joint Stock Company, which will have pit stops across 21 provinces and cities in Vietnam.
With the support of MOPO Electric Charging & Swapping Infrastructure, the drivers will be able to charge their vehicles or change the batteries at MOTUL Vietnam garages, workshops, as well as grocery stores, convenience stores, and other locations along the route.
Vice chairman of Cengroup Pham Thanh Hung, known as "Shark Hung" for being one of the largest real estate brokers in Vietnam, said: "With the Olympic torch relay format, The Green Trail is an opportunity for Vietnamese individuals, companies and government organizations to unite and act for the environment".
"Through this partnership, we hope to offer the best electric vehicle sales and services in Vietnam for power, mobility and service," said Granger Whitelaw, chairman of Ben Franklin Energy.
The event is sponsored by the Vietnam Lubricants and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (Vilube), Motul Vietnam and Lazada Vietnam.
Singer Trong Hieu and Huong Giang Idol are also the main ambassadors of The Green Trail.
