A viral video showed a woman in South Korea force a café manager to kneel and apologize for forgetting a straw in her drink order, sparking an outcry.

The incident at a café in Gyeonggi province in early April was caught on the cafe's surveillance footage, which then went viral on social media.

The video has attracted over 20,000 views and hundreds of comments criticizing the woman's rude behavior.

Initially, she had called the café to complain that there was no straw delivered with her drink order, SBS News reported.

The manager quickly gave a straw and a complimentary cake to the customer as an apology, Today Online news site reported.

Due to the wrong address, the delivery was unsuccessful, further angering the customer.

In the footage, she was seen storming into the café with her drink in hand and asked the manager to kneel and apologize for the mistake.

"Too rude. Just because she forgot a straw, is that necessary?" said a comment on YouTube.

"You should have reported the incident to the police instead of kneeling," another wrote.

Some online users asked for the café’s address so that they could visit it and show support for the manager.
