Five fugitives are currently on the lam after being charged with terrorism for their involvement in the killing of nine people at government offices in Dak Lak last month.

Police in the Central Highlands' Dak Lak Province announced on Saturday that five fugitives currently at large – Y Khing Lieng, 31, Nay Yen, 53, Y Ju Nie, 55, Nay Tam, 49 and Nay Duong, 55 – are currently being sought by authorities on charges of terrorism.

Authorities said the five had already escaped from the province, and anyone has the right to apprehend them and take them to authorities.

On June 11, two armed groups attacked the People's Committee offices in Ea Ktur and Ea Tieu communes, killing nine officials, police officers and civilians. So far, around 90 suspects have been arrested for multiple crimes related to the incident, including terrorism.

Among them, one was a member of a U.S. based organization, who said they received instructions from the organization to infiltrate Vietnam and perform the attacks.
