Founded in 2018, HAIS's success is largely attributed to the vision and dedication of its founder, Hanh An. A mother of five, An's personal experiences and passion for education motivated her to establish the school.
An's vision centers around creating an inclusive and supportive educational space.
Through her commitment, HAIS has become known not only for its academic rigor but also for fostering creativity, critical thinking, and global awareness in its students.

HAIS offers two educational streams: International and Bilingual, serving early years and primary students, and an international stream for secondary students. The school caters to children aged 18 months to 18 years. The youngest learners follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, a play-based curriculum that emphasizes creativity, social skills, and basic academic development.
Primary students in the international stream follow the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, focusing on core academics while allowing room for exploration in arts, sports, and technology. Bilingual primary students spend 70% of their time in the international stream and 30% learning the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training curriculum, ensuring fluency in both languages and an easy transition between international and local educational systems.
In secondary education, students progress to the Cambridge Secondary program, including IGCSE and A-Level courses, with an emphasis on preparing for further studies abroad. HAIS also offers a World Languages program, providing students with the opportunity to study French.

The cafeteria serves nutritious meals to support students' well-being, and the library offers a range of resources and comfortable study spaces.
Additionally, the school emphasizes environmental sustainability, fostering a green campus that promotes respect for nature.

A key strength of HAIS is its diverse student body. With students from over 35 countries, the school provides a multicultural learning environment that enriches the educational experience.
This global perspective is a valuable benefit for students who are preparing to become informed and empathetic citizens of the world.
For families considering relocation to Vietnam, Hoi An offers a lower cost of living and a more affordable lifestyle, complemented by a serene and culturally rich environment.
HAIS' small class sizes ensure personalized attention for each student, making it an attractive option for families looking for a high-quality education in one of Vietnam's most vibrant cities.

Under An's leadership, HAIS continues to set a high standard for international education in central Vietnam. The school's commitment to providing child-centered education, fostering passion, and helping students realize their dreams remains central to its mission.
Admissions are open for the 2025-2026 school year. Families can enroll through the HAIS website or contact the school directly for more information.
