Hanoi Toronto School hosted Vietnamese-Indian Cultural Day, enabling its students to explore and learn about the world's oldest and most diverse culture.

The school collaborated with the Indian embassy in Hanoi to organize the event on April 21.

It provided a unique platform for discovering and understanding Indian culture, which is rich in ancient traditions and diversity.

The event was attended by Dr Monica Sharma, director of the Indian Cultural Center at the Indian embassy, and students and teachers from over 15 countries studying and working at the school.

According to Lee Chalkly, Executive Principal of Hanoi Toronto School, the school has a multicultural environment, and events like these are very important because they could help students bond and understand each other better despite coming from different cultural backgrounds.

India is one of the world's oldest civilizations with a long history and a diverse, rich culture steeped in mystical stories that captivate the imagination.

At the event, students, parents, and teachers were introduced to the ancient secrets and indulged in authentic Indian cuisine while learning interesting and novel stories about India's lands, peoples, culture, history, and religions from Sharma.

They had the opportunity to learn, explore and experience various aspects of Indian culture, including its unique dances, cuisine and legendary films, and also try their hand at some traditional Vietnamese games.
