A boat carrying a group of friends capsized on the Be River in southern Binh Phuoc province during their outing, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including one child.

On Tuesday, the rescue team recovered the bodies of three victims, Nguyen Minh Duc, 27, Lam Khang, 10, both from the privince's Loc Ninh District, and Ngo Trieu Vi, 20, from Hon Quan District.

On Monday, a group of seven friends visited a branch of the Be River in Loc Phu Commune, Loc Ninh District. Around 5 p.m., five of them set out on the river in a boat.

Approximately 50 meters from the shore, their boat overturned. While two managed to swim to safety, the other three, who could not swim, drowned.

The rescue team equipped with specialized vehicles and divers was dispatched, and by Tuesday morning, the bodies were recovered about 40 meters from the capsizing site.
