One blue chip fell. VJC of private airline Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company decreased by 0.3%.
Foreign investors were net seller to the tune of VND461 billion, mainly selling VNM of dairy giant Vinamilk and state-owned lender Vietcombank.
The HNX-Index for stocks on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, home to mid and small caps, rose 1.78%, while the UPCoM-Index for the Unlisted Public Companies Market went up 0.84%.
