Gold price decrease slightly

Gold ring price went down 0.78% to VND76.1 million per tael. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.

Globally, gold price has returned to the red in Monday’s Asian trading, snapping two back-to-back days of gains, FXStreet reported.

The extended Gold price pullback could be attrbuted to a renewed uptick in the US Treasury bond yields, as markets calm down after no further geopolitical escalation in the Middle East over the weekend.

Gold slid 0.6% to $2,376.40, retreating from near the all-time peak of $2,431.29 from last week.
