Gasoline prices remain steady, diesel rates experience increase

Gasoline rates remained largely unchanged on Thursday afternoon, while diesel prices experienced an increase for the second consecutive week.

The popular fuel RON95 stayed the same as last Thursday at VND22,140 ($0.91) per liter, while biofuel E5 RON92 slipped 0.05% to VND21,180.

Diesel jumped 1.33% to VND19,780.

Global petrol prices in the past seven days fluctuated amid forecasts of declining U.S. crude oil reserves while inventories increased and shipping activities in the Red Sea were resumed.

RON92 fell 0.11% to $88.29 per barrel while RON95 dropped by the same rate to $92.34. Diesel went up 0.23% to $99.24.
