Gasoline prices dropped slightly Monday afternoon after rising for three months.

The popular RON95 dropped 3.50% to VND24,840 ($1.02) per liter.

Biofuel RON92 fell 2.85% to VND23,500.

Diesel stayed unchanged at VND23,590.

Vietnamese authorities said that global prices have been dropping in the last 10 days as Russia eased its export ban and investors were concerned of rising interests, which could limit demand.

RON92 dropped 6% to $101.49 per barrel, while RON95 fell 6.3% to $106.83.
