Should my husband work abroad to secure a better future for our children?

My husband and I are both 40 years old. We are civil servants with three children in kindergarten. We have a house and owe the bank nearly VND200 million ($8,528) for the construction.

My husband's relative is sponsoring him to go abroad to work. The problem is that only he can go, and we will have to wait a few years to reunite.

If he goes abroad, he has to do manual labor and start all over again. My husband really wants to go so that he can earn more money and secure a better future for our children.

Meanwhile, I am still considering this since we are no longer young and we still face many difficulties ahead.
