In a promotional photoshoot for her latest role as Fu Jia Yi in the film "Till Love Do Us Apart," Tong showcased her slender figure in a form-fitting, two-strap gown. This piece is part of the Camelia collection, created by Tra Linh and Viet Trinh, which was first presented in Shanghai in August.

The gown, inspired by East Asian aesthetics, is made primarily from Japanese Mikado silk. Its centerpiece is a mirror-finished camellia flower crafted from metallic materials, meticulously designed by the duo and their artisans. The look is completed with a sheer cape, adding a delicate and feminine touch.
Designer Tra Linh shared that Tong's team contacted them for a custom order after seeing the collection's debut in China. Co-designer Viet Trinh noted that the Xinjiang-born actress loved the original design and requested no modifications. The gown took 200 hours to create and was then shipped to China.
Tong Liya, 41, first gained recognition as the first runner-up in the Miss Xinjiang beauty pageant in 2002. She rose to fame with her roles in Chinese historical dramas such as "Empresses in the Palace" and "Jade Palace Lock Heart."
Tong ended her seven-year marriage with Chinese actor-director Chen Sicheng in 2021, with whom she has a son. Reports suggest that her career saw significant positive developments following the divorce.
Tra Linh and Viet Trinh launched their luxury bridal brand in 2013. Besides their success in Vietnam, they have expanded their wedding dress line to markets in the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. Their designs have been worn by numerous Vietnamese and international celebrities, including Ly Nha Ky, Chi Pu, Fan Bingbing, Mai Davika, Baifern Pimchanok, Yang Zi, and Li Yitong.
