Actress Fan Bingbing reportedly rents Hong Kong apartment for over $83K monthly

According to Dimsum Daily, the residence encompasses over 5,000 square feet (465 square meters) and offers panoramic 180-degree views of Victoria Harbour. It includes five bedrooms, four bathrooms, nearly 1,000 square feet of garden space, and an expansive terrace exceeding 1,000 square feet.

Sources reveal that Fan successfully acquired Hong Kong residency after nearly a decade of pursuing it through investment immigration.

Barker Road is renowned not only for its breathtaking views but also for its exclusivity and privacy, qualities highly valued by many prominent individuals. According to the South China Morning Post, Martin Li Ka-shing, heir to Hong Kong billionaire Lee Shau Kee, purchased the property at 35 Barker Road for HK$1.82 billion in 2010. Meanwhile, Chinese billionaire Jack Ma allegedly spent HK$1.5 billion on a 9,890-square-foot luxury home at 22 Barker Road.

Fan, who launched her career in the entertainment industry at 17 and is now 43, has garnered international recognition as an actress, model, television producer, and singer. She was included in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2017.

She has kept a low profile since being fined US$128 million for tax evasion in 2018.

Recently, she has been actively participating in international events and has reconnected with her followers on social media platforms such as Xiaohongshu and Douyin, where she shares updates about her life in Hong Kong.
