Hanoi police confront people violating stay-at-home orders

In downtown Hoan Kiem District's Trang Tien Ward, they have set up a checkpoint near Hoan Kiem Lake and signs to warn people not to leave home without a valid reason.

The 15-day lockdown is under Directive 16, which mandates the most stringent social distancing regulations like requiring people to stay at home and only go out for buying food or medicines or work at factories or businesses that are allowed to open.
