Fashion collection features swallow patterns for luck, quality fabrics

The duo give a sneak peek into their new collection ahead of their "Vang Son - A Better Day" (Golden - A Better Day) fashion show next month in Hue, their hometown.

Using green, one of five colors along with red, yellow, purple, and blue that are used in the Hue imperial citadel, the designers have created a range of outfits like bodycon dresses, suits and relaxed dresses.

Model Vo Hoang Yen in a slip dress made of organza and taffeta, the main materials the duo use in the new collection.

The bodycon dress features an exaggerated bow tie handmade by local artists. An off-the-shoulder dress is combined with a beaded necklace for a touch of elegance.

Models pose with musical instruments representing the designers’ love for traditional music.

All the outfits will be shown off at Ngoc and Son's fashion show on October 4, 2020. The two are well known for their colorful and eye-catching patterns, usually blending western and eastern sensibilities. They started their fashion career three years ago and have quickly become popular.
