Cong Tri showcases nostalgic new collection

Designer Cong Tri recently introduced his 2022 Spring-Summer collection in Ho Chi Minh City, replete with notions of positive sustainability.

Cong Tri worked with director Viet Tu for his latest show, choosing a classic theme with Haute Couture style. One by one, models walked out with number plates in their hands and voiceovers for their outfits, similar to high-class fashion shows in France in the 1950s.

On the background of sequins, taffeta, faille, satin, and organza fabrics, he created waistline and cutouts. Square and buffed shoulders create a strong style for wearers.

Model Minh Tu wears a yellow off-the-shoulder gown. The colors of Tri’s new collection are elegant spirits with bright and striking colors of the spring and summer. In addition to white, black or beige, the designer uses fuchsia pink, yellow, moss green and metallic. He said he wanted to convey positivity and optimism about a fresh start to the year ahead.Recently, American magazine Hollywood Reporter has named Cong Tri as one of three fashion designers to earn popularity on Hollywoods red carpets. He debuted at the New York Fashion Week in Jan. 2019, and quickly earned global popularity with many celebrities choosing to don his creations in the last few years.
