I am 28 years old, have been married for three years, and we have two young children, ages three and one. Although my husband is generally gentle, he is particularly strict about financial matters. He keeps control of his earnings and, despite making more than I do, limits his spending to match mine.
This issue has led to constant disagreements between us. We do not have joint bank accounts or mutual savings, and we manage our finances separately. We haven’t bought our own home yet and are living with my in-laws, which is incredibly stressful due to my demanding mother-in-law.
What should I do to change his perspectives?
