On Jan. 3 Yuehua Entertainment tweeted the official photo of the band, including the 24-year-old Vietnamese from the northern Yen Bai Province.
It quickly trended in Vietnam, with many people re-tweeting the post.
In 2020 Hanbin attracted attention when he participated in I-Land, the reality show devised by Big Hit Entertainment, the company that manages the famous boy band BTS.
He was considered one of the top contenders, and got a lot of public votes for his looks and impressive choreography, but was eliminated and missed the opportunity to join the band Enhypen, which debuted in November last year.
After that he joined as a trainee at Yuehua Entertainment, which manages artists Choi Ye Na, Cho Seung Youn and Everglow and actor Lee Do Hyun.
Hanbin was earlier a well-known name in the K-pop dance community in Vietnam and leader of the group C.A.C which won the 2018 Vietnam Kpop random dance in public contest. At the time he was using the stage name Hung Bin and had a big fan following.
