Their relationship, which began in October 2021, was reportedly over by Sept. 30, when a blogger claimed that Zhuo Yue had abandoned and betrayed Zhou Xun. According to the blogger, Zhou Xun was overly accommodating in the relationship, acting "like a mother" by paying for dates, cooking, and doing his laundry, as reported by Znews, quoting Sohu.
Zhuo Yue, on the other hand, was described as indifferent and using Zhou Xun as a financial resource while becoming increasingly addicted to gaming and neglecting his work. Despite Zhou Xun's efforts to save the relationship, including buying him a house, it eventually ended. Although heartbroken by the split, Zhou Xun's friends reportedly felt relieved for her.
