According to Znews, Oriental Daily reported that Chen recently spoke about her relationship with Bea, noting that she believes the key to a happy family is treating a daughter-in-law well. When Bea spotted an empty plot near her parents’ home in Taipei, Chen purchased it immediately, without hesitation. Bea plans to transform the land into a private zoo.

"Bea has a large plot, but it hasn’t been fully designed yet. The designer has been working with her for over a year, but they still haven’t finalized the plan," Chen said. "The land is simply too big."

Chen also emphasized that she has never spoken negatively about Bea. She usually agrees with whatever her daughter-in-law suggests and provides anything Bea wants.

Bea, 41, is best known for her role in the "Tiny Times" film series. She married Jacky, also 41, in 2019.

Her father-in-law Charles, 77, founded Win’s Entertainment in the 1980s and later established China Star Entertainment, a leading Hong Kong-listed production company credited with launching the careers of cinema icons such as Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat, Stephen Chow, Andy Lau, and Johnnie To, according to Variety. In 2022, his net worth was estimated at US$1.2 billion by the South China Morning Post.
