Singer Flora Dai robbed in broad daylight on highway in Paris

According to Znews, Sinchew reported that Dai took to Weibo on Monday to recount the incident, explaining that she and her team were en route to the airport when a group of thieves in black clothing suddenly approached their vehicle. Using specialized tools, the thieves smashed the car window and swiftly robbed them on the highway.

The whole ordeal unfolded so quickly that Dai and her team were caught off guard and unable to react in time. Her makeup artist, sitting in the front passenger seat, had her handbag snatched and sustained an injury from the broken glass.

"The entire process lasted just a few seconds, and we didn’t have time to react," Dai shared. "Fortunately, my makeup artist had kept her passport close, so it wasn’t stolen. The stolen items were mostly credit cards and cosmetics."

Dai urged her fans to stay vigilant when traveling, writing: "Always carry important documents with you and stay alert in all situations—safety comes first."

She also mentioned that she and her team promptly reported the incident to the Paris police, and they assisted her makeup artist in treating the injury and blocking the stolen bank cards.

Many Weibo users commented, expressing concern for Dai’s safety and reminding others to stay cautious while traveling.

At 32, Dai graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy. She first rose to fame by competing in the second season of the music reality show "Youth with You" and made her screen debut in 2023.
