‘Queen of Tears’ actress Kim Ji Won spotted shopping in Singapore

As reported by AsiaOne, Kim was seen at the department store at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday. She was queuing and ordering a drink at the bubble tea chain Koi Cafe, where a fan managed to snap a selfie with her.

Based on an Instagram story subsequently shared by her staff, the actress and her entourage also dropped by the Crocs store in the shopping center.

A user of Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social media and e-commerce platform, shared that they caught Kim and her entourage buying a lot of Kit Kats.

Singaporean news outlet Mothership reported that Kim arrived in Singapore for a private event hosted by luxury brand Bulgari in Sentosa on Tuesday. The actress was welcomed by a throng of enthusiastic fans at Changi Airport upon her arrival a day prior.

She reportedly left Singapore Wednesday morning, with fans gathering at Changi Airport to bid farewell to her.

Kim, 32, entered the entertainment industry in 2018 and quickly gained recognition for her roles in television dramas like "The Heirs," "Descendants of the Sun," "Fight for My Way," "My Liberation Notes," and "Queen of Tears."

Her popularity has recently surged due to the success of her latest project "Queen of Tears," which aired on South Korean cable channel tvN from March 9 to April 28.

The series achieved a nationwide rating of 24.850% for its final episode, making it the highest-rated series on tvN. It also ranks as the third highest-rated series in Korean cable television history for viewership ratings and the second highest by the number of viewers.
