South Korean chef Ahn Sung Jae, a judge on Netflix's reality cooking competition "Culinary Class Wars", said he opened his Hong Kong restaurant, Mosu, because of his long-time idol, movie legend Chow Yun Fat.

Ahn shared his excitement when Chow recently visited the restaurant with film mogul Peter Lam, admitting that he had been a fan of the actor since childhood, according to 8 Days.

In an Instagram video with Chow, the Michelin three-star chef said: "The reason I opened a restaurant in Hong Kong is because of you. I’ve watched your movies since I was a child!" Mosu is so successful that reservations are fully booked until next year.

During his visit, the 69-year-old actor reportedly took several selfies with the chef.

The 69-year-old actor gained admiration for his philanthropic commitment to donate his $700 million fortune to charity after his passing, according to The Independent.
