Malaysian pop star Jamal Abdillah, 65, expecting seventh child with 28-year-old wife

According to The Star, Jamal Abdillah shared his excitement and gratitude for the new family addition in an interview with local newspaper Harian Metro.

"It’s fun to look at kids," he remarked. "They have all sorts of attitudes."

Despite the joy, the singer acknowledged the challenges of raising young children, as reported by Borneo Bulletin. He stated that he is prepared for these challenges, noting: "I have an assistant at home to look after the children, and I also hire daily or hourly nannies from time to time."

These caregivers not only care for the children but also engage them in educational activities and playful tasks to keep them entertained and stimulated, he added.

The New Paper reported that Jamal Abdillah’s wife, currently two months pregnant, has been experiencing severe morning sickness and allergic reactions, and is receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur.

This situation led Jamal to go public with the news of the pregnancy, hoping his story might support others in similar circumstances, despite initially planning to keep it confidential.

Born Jamal Ubaidillah bin Haji Mohd Ali, the singer is known as the "King of Pop" in Malaysia. He married his fourth wife in 2017 after a month of acquaintance.
