According to Dimsum Daily, Kwan’s post showcased Dunhuang’s desert, sunsets, and fireworks but featured no photos of herself. Observers only realized James Louey accompanied her after the businessman shared an Instagram photo of him and the actress enjoying a meal in the desert.

James’ wife, Jane Louey, expressed her admiration in a comment under the post, writing: "Thank you Rosamund Kwan, I’m so envious! James Louey had so much fun."

Jane reportedly missed the trip due to her father’s hospitalization.

Kwan and the Louey couple have maintained a close friendship over the years, with the trio frequently gathering to celebrate special occasions. James and Jane organized a private celebration for Kwan’s birthday in September this year, with industry stars Charlene Choi and Donnie Yen in attendance.
