On Nov. 17, Wong, 43, posted a 30-second video on social media that chronicled moments from their wedding in New Zealand in 2018, followed by a scene of her tearfully holding an ultrasound image of a baby.
The video continued with joyful memories of the couple before showing Wong presenting a positive pregnancy test to Siu, 47, who reacted with surprise and covered his face in disbelief.
"Our story began when the two of us became a family. This family was once looking forward to creating new life, then in a difficult moment, we lost it. We spent days seeking balance and striving to support each other’s happiness," Wong wrote in Chinese, revealing she had suffered a miscarriage.
She continued: "We shared our family’s small story and hope to provide strength to parents who have experienced a similar loss. We understand the pain that cannot be expressed in words but hope everyone believes in better days ahead."
"There is no need for fairy tales in life, but we can find hope," she added.

The announcement drew congratulatory messages from celebrity friends. Actress Natalie Tong expressed her admiration, saying: "This journey has been full of ups and downs, it really ain’t easy. Every mom is very brave. I will always support her!"
Singer Shiga Lin shared her excitement, noting that her daughter would soon have a playmate and offering to exchange motherhood tips with Wong.
Speculation about Wong’s pregnancy had recently emerged after she was seen in loose-fitting clothing at public events. Earlier in November, she was photographed being assisted off stage, further fueling rumors.
Wong had hinted at a miscarriage in August 2021 with a social media post captioned "Goodbye." Although she starred in the TVB series "Battle of the Seven Sisters" later that year, she withdrew from promotional activities, raising concern among fans. Addressing the speculation, Wong later wrote, "One day, we shall meet again. Personal grief. Thanks for the concern."
Wong is best known for TVB dramas such as the "Line Walker" series (2014 to 2020) and "Madam Cutie On Duty" (2015).
Siu, a singer and actor, debuted as an idol with Music Nation Group. After pursuing opportunities in mainland China in 2002, he returned to Hong Kong in 2008 to join TVB. Siu is known for his roles in "Guai Xia Yi Zhi Mei" (2010), "Truth or Dare: 6th Floor Rear Flat" (2003) and "City of SARS" (2003).
