According to HK01, during a reunion of the former co-stars at an event last week, where they filmed a commercial together, Koo and Lee spent time reminiscing about the past. Koo noted that Lee appeared largely unchanged, both in looks and personality.

"In my heart, she will always be Xiaolongnu from the Ancient Tomb School, never losing her crystal-clear purity," the actor stated.

Xiaolongnu, literally translated as Little Dragon Maiden, is a fictional female protagonist in Hong Kong author Jin Yong’s novel "The Return of the Condor Heroes," from which the 1995 series was adapted. Lee portrayed Xiaolongnu in the series.

Koo disclosed that Lee adheres to a specific diet that complements her physique and lifestyle, largely avoiding dining out due to her sensitivity to MSG. He also mentioned that although he and Lee seldom meet in person, he sends birthday wishes to her via text messages every year.

During the commercial shoot, Lee inquired about Koo’s most memorable moment from shooting martial arts films. He responded that it was performing a scene where his character Yang Guo learns martial arts from a condor in "The Condor Heroes." Since the condor could not speak human language and communicated only through "chirp chirp" sounds while moving its beak and wings, Koo had to deliver a six-page monologue, interacting with the prop and responding to himself.

According to Sina, Koo, 54, and Lee, 58, have been rumored to be dating for years, although Lee firmly stated that such a relationship could not occur. Nonetheless, the actress said she continued to follow Koo’s career, despite their infrequent meetings.

"From a skinny youth, he [Koo] has become a robust, mature man," she previously remarked about the actor. "There is always an air of calm around Louis."

Currently, neither actor is involved in any public romantic relationships.

In recent years, Lee has been actively participating in films and is highly sought after for events in mainland China.

Meanwhile, Koo has worked as a producer and starred in several projects, including "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In," "The White Storm 3: Heaven or Hell," and "Warriors of the Future."

"The Return of the Condor Heroes" centers on the romantic tale between Xiaolongnu and Yang Guo. During a critical moment, Yang encounters a divine condor that understands human speech. The condor then comes to his aid and they form a brotherly bond.

The series achieved widespread popularity across many Asian countries, marking a pivotal moment in both Koo and Lee’s careers.
