Trisha Yearwood, the wife of country music star Garth Brooks, sold their home in Tennessee a day before Brooks faced allegations of rape and sexual assault.

According to Page Six, the property in Brentwood, which had been on the market for some time, was sold for $3.34 million on Oct. 2, as listed on Realtor.com. The mansion features 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.

Yearwood, 60, bought the 6,553-square-foot property in 2000 and it served as the filming location for 11 seasons of her Emmy-winning show, "Trisha’s Southern Kitchen."

Sharing with People, Yearwood expressed: "When I bought this house in 2000, I was looking for a place that would be my sanctuary. The minute I stepped foot inside, I knew this was the place. Even when I moved to Oklahoma, I just couldn't part with this house."

On Oct. 3, Garth Brooks, aged 62, was sued by a woman known only as Jane Roe. She alleges that Brooks, who she claims was her former hairstylist and makeup artist, raped her and made multiple unwanted sexual advances, including sending inappropriate text messages.

She highlighted a particularly disturbing incident during a business trip for the Grammy Awards in May 2019 in Los Angeles.

Brooks has denied these accusations, suggesting he is the target of extortion, as reported by The Daily Beast. He commented to People about experiencing two months of harassment involving threats and falsehoods.

Trisha Yearwood has not made any public comments regarding the sale of the property or the lawsuit against her husband.
