According to Malaysian news outlet Hype, the discover was made on March 19, 2025 and quickly spread across Chinese social media, trending with the phrase "Netizen finds Dilraba’s visa in Japan."
The person who found the passport uploaded a photo of the visa page online, carefully mosaicking most of Dilraba’s personal details but leaving her photograph visible, presumably to aid her agency in retrieving the document.
Responding promptly, Dilraba’s management confirmed the documents were genuine but noted the visa was from a past trip and is no longer valid. They reassured there are no upcoming travel plans to Japan for the actress and urged the public to avoid baseless speculation.
This isn’t the first time Dilraba’s management team has been scrutinized for misplacing personal items of their artists, underscoring possible oversights in their responsibility and care. Critics suggest this carelessness could impact other vital areas of artist management, including health and safety protocols.
Speculation also continues about how the actress’ personal documents were left in such a public space.
At 35, Dilraba is a graduate of the Shanghai Theater Academy. She debuted in the 2013 television drama "Anarhan" and has since risen to significant commercial prominence in China.
