Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming has kept quiet amid rumors that model and influencer Ye Ke requested a "break-up fee" of 270 million yuan (around US$38 million) to end their relationship.
According to a report from the Jinan Times on Thursday, Huang and Ye’s relationship has been trending on social media due to reports suggesting tensions between them. Sources claim that Ye asked for a large sum from Huang in exchange for keeping the split discreet and amicable.

The story has drawn over 500 million views and generated hundreds of thousands of comments on Weibo, with many expressing surprise at Ye's reported demand.

Fans have flooded Huang's and his management’s Weibo accounts with questions, though Huang has not yet responded to the rumors.

Some netizens have criticized Ye, describing her as "fake and annoying" during her livestreams. Several of her past remarks have resurfaced, sparking ridicule. In one livestream, when a fan asked if she’d had cosmetic surgery, Ye responded, "Yes, but not excessively. It’s not like my whole body is fake—only about 40% has been modified." This statement has since gained popularity among Chinese youth, who often use it humorously.

According to Now News, old photos of Ye recently resurfaced, showing that she once attended China’s "Trophy Wife Training Camp," a costly program designed to help women attract wealthy partners. The camp provides participants with luxury attire, accessories, and high-end cars for photoshoots to project an upscale image, along with networking opportunities with affluent men.

Sources indicated that Ye had posed with cars, watches, and designer clothes similar to those featured by other camp attendees. Following these revelations, she deleted numerous old photos, many of which displayed luxury items.

According to Sohu, Huang and Ye have been dating for over a year, with Huang confirming their relationship on Weibo on Sept. 19, two years after his divorce from actress Angelababy. He stated: "Ye Ke and I are together," without addressing their marital status.

Huang, 47, is famous for his roles in "The Return of the Condor Heroes", "Shanghai Bund", and "Summer's Desire". He and Angelababy, 35, went public in 2014, married in 2015, and had a son in 2017 before divorcing in 2022. Huang reportedly began dating Ye a few months after the separation.

Ye, a Shenzhen University graduate and former wife of a businessman, is now a prominent influencer and entrepreneur, with her own fashion brand and beauty salon.
