Pax Thien, the 21-year-old son of Angelina Jolie, attracted attention with a visible scar on his forehead while attending the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival alongside his mother.

According to the Daily Mail, Jolie and Pax were present at the event for the premiere of "Without Blood," a film directed by Jolie, on Monday. They opted for classic attire, with Jolie wearing a black gown and Pax in a suit, sporting an arm cast under his black jacket and sunglasses.

This was Pax’s first appearance at a major event since his e-bike accident in late July. A few days earlier, paparazzi had spotted Jolie and Pax walking in Los Angeles, where Pax was seen with an arm cast and a hat covering his head injury. Reports indicated that he appeared to be recovering well after his hospitalization.

As reported by People, Jolie’s two children, Maddox, 23, and Pax, were involved in her movie as assistant directors. Actress Salma Hayek Pinault, who stars in the film, mentioned that Jolie’s children worked hard on set: "They got the respect of the crew, and they were good with the crew, and they were very in their place."

"It is kind of funny, I was teasing them at the beginning, but then I had to say, 'No. I have to separate and just treat them like professionals because it's disrespectful,'" she added.

Pax was involved in the accident on July 29 when he collided with a stationary car while riding his electric bike without a helmet. He reportedly suffered a head injury and was bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital and discharged from intensive care over a week later to begin recovery and physical therapy.

Jolie stayed by her son's side during his hospitalization, and his siblings visited to show their support. Despite Brad Pitt’s attempts to reach out, Pax reportedly refused his father's care.

Pax was abandoned by his biological mother shortly after his birth in Ho Chi Minh City. Then placed in a local orphanage, where he was named Pham Quang Sang, he stayed there until being adopted by Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, in 2007.

Pax shares a close bond with his mother, frequently joining her on film sets and helping with her business endeavors.
