Angelina Jolie enjoys sushi dinner with Vietnamese-born son Pax Thien

According to Page Six, the actress, clad in an elegant black dress with coordinating heels and handbag and shaded by black sunglasses, and her son visited the restaurant on Friday. Pax Thien offered a contrast to his mother’s sleek look with a laid-back white shirt and khaki cargo pants, completed with a blue patterned jacket and white sneakers.

He was also seen handling the parking fees using his American Express card.

This marks the second time this year that Jolie and Pax Thien have been reported dining at the eatery, following an earlier visit in January.

The dining experience comes amid persistent reports that Jolie is becoming a favored figure among the children she shares with her former husband, American actor Brad Pitt, during their divorce proceedings. It has been reported that the relationship between Pitt and his children is strained, highlighted by an alleged Pax Thien’s critical post about the actor on his Instagram account on Father’s Day, along with several children deciding to drop Pitt’s surname from their names.

Pax Thien, 21, was abandoned by his biological mother shortly after his birth in Ho Chi Minh City. Then placed in a local orphanage, where he was named Pham Quang Sang, he stayed there until being adopted by Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, in 2007.
