According to Sinchew, at a press conference in Taipei on July 4 to promote a laundry detergent, Lin remarked: "My daughter is already seven years old, and I no longer consider the possibility of having another child."

She further noted that her daughter has developed a stubborn streak as she has grown older, which often leads to arguments between them, leaving the young girl in tears on many occasions.

During the event, Lin was also questioned about the rumored divorce of her colleagues Chen Xiao and Michelle Chen, but she chose not to comment.

"I am just like everyone else, learning about it through the news," she stated. "Please refrain from asking me about this."

However, she mentioned seeing Michelle Chen and her daughter with Chen Xiao at a recent Lunar New Year celebration, noting that the actor was absent from the event.

Lin also shared that since Huo has returned to acting after a three-year hiatus following his last series "Light the Night," she has assumed the primary caregiving responsibilities for their child in Taiwan.

At the same time, she is preparing for a new film set to release at the end of the year. She disclosed that she will not be acting in the film but will be involved as a producer.

Lin, 48, first appeared on camera in 1995 in a minor role and quickly developed a passion for acting. She gained fame with her role as Xia Ziwei in the TV series "My Fair Princess."

She founded her own studio in 2009 and has since produced TV dramas and films.

Huo, 45, began his career in the entertainment industry at 17 as an assistant to Taiwanese TV host Sam Tseng and gained prominence with the 2003 TV drama "At Dolphin Bay."

The couple married in 2016 and held two ceremonies, one in Bali and another in Taipei. They welcomed their daughter in 2017.
