19-year-younger girlfriend loves actress Zhang Ziyi’s ex-husband for 'kindness and warmth'

According to Sinchew, Li, 34, confirmed her relationship with Wang, 53, in a video released on May 21. Commending Wang’s charm and personality, she noted that her initial view of the singer was shaped by various online sources, yet upon getting to know him better, she discovered his sincerity and kindness.

She explained that beneath Wang’s "rock and roll facade" lies a heart that is warm and straightforward, an insight that took her by surprise. Li highlighted Wang’s warm and realistic nature, noting his readiness to be true to his feelings.

Li added that she met Wang two months following his divorce from Zhang in October last year and they began a relationship four months later. She refuted any allegations of her involvement in his previous marriage.

Addressing their significant age gap and Wang’s complex romantic past, as the singer has been married three times and has had numerous relationships, Li maintained that their love is genuine and free from encumbrances.

She disclosed that she had been previously married and had a child, and that her separation from her ex-husband was amicable.

Speculation about Wang and Li’s relationship surfaced after they were seen having dinner with Wang’s mother and children on May 19. Wang subsequently confirmed that they were dating, leading some social media users to voice doubts about the relationship. They wonder why Li, a young, attractive woman with her own income and status, would choose Wang, a middle-aged man noted for his financial skills but also rumored to struggle with gambling and a complex romantic history.

Sina reported that Li, also known as Sen Lin Bei, holds an arts degree and works in the tourism industry in her native Xinjiang, an autonomous region in China.

Wang is renowned as a rock musician and as a coach on "The Voice of China."

He wed Zhang, 45, in 2015, marking his third marriage and her first.

Zhang has been globally recognized for her role in the 2000 film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," which was nominated for 10 Academy Awards. She has also won multiple awards for her performance in the 2013 movie "The Grandmaster."
